Well done beassie well done.......................     =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

You are a twitt, honestly your threads are terrible....

So while you do have more NSW/ACT then we have Vic,SA,WA,TAS........we have more Fiji, NZ, Eng, Samoa, PNG, Cook islands.....the list could go on forever.....

Beassie the fucken ******..... =D> =D> =D> =D>
This is the most insane and irrelevant thing you've posted on these forums. Robbie Farrah was not born in Lebanon you ******, he was born in NSW. Minechello wasn't born in Italy, he was born in NSW. In a thread about where players are born and bred, you're talking about people's ethnic ancestry, which is IRRELEVANT. The whole point of the thread is to highlight the inroads made by the AFL in the NSW market. Having someone of Lebanese descent playing Rugby League doesn't indicate that the game has made inroads into Lebanon, any more than having Andrew Demetriou play football indicates the game is going gangbusters in Greece.

I don't understand what point you're trying to make in the context of this thread. If it's that the nRL has players with a more diverse ancestry than the AFL (it doesn't), I don't understand what you think you win? This thread is about how the growth of grass roots football in NSW is bearing fruit at the elite level, as opposed to Rugby League's lack of investment in grass roots football in Vic, SA, WA and Tas.
This whole topic seams to drive eels into a bit of a rage. I had the same discussion with him last time I started a thread like this. In the end he ended up starting a new thread.
Even in a thread about overseas players, you can pick holes in a large amount of the players on eels list. They are mostly raised in NSW/Qld, with a quite a few of the NZ players being Rugby converts. Even the British players have no connection with the NRL developing them.
In the end the list eels has completed just highlights that the NRL has not really expanded its talent pool in any way, unlike the AFL. Hopefully with the recent big payday, we will see a lot more development of RL players in non-traditional states.

Wow, cheers for the updated list Drac. 53 AFL players from NSW/ACT when you include Brayden Jack as piesman points out. Time to update the thread title.

1) What's a creak?
2) This thread shows that AFL investment in grassroots footy is producing players in areas that have traditionally not produced players previously (i.e NSW). Are you honestly suggesting that England, Fiji, New Zealand, Samoa and Tonga don't have a long history of producing players of the Rugby codes? Rugby League is PNG's national sport FFS. How are you not getting that this thread is about the success of growing into areas that previously never played the game.
