Ahh no they didnt. They robbed the 15th team from pick 2 instead of pick 3......oh no, how will they cope?!
The storm defeated most teams, making teams miss the finals, robbing the runners up from a deserved premiership! It doesn't get any worse than that!
The current admin were of course going to defend their club. They had no place in or proof of tanking.

The season we played for no premiership points made no difference to the make up of the finals.
And if the Demons hadn't tanked they would only have got one pick in the first 16. That's the way it works, right? If the admin didn't know, they would have said nothing. But they did. Guilty.

Yep, that's the way it works. The 15th team got pick 3 instead of 2. Other than that the only team affected was Melbourne.
The Storm screwed your entire league over. And that link I showed is littered with NRL salary cap breaches, all with minimal punishment.

The storm were able to win a premiership with basically the same players they cheated to get so did the bulldogs.Melbourne are still on the bottom.Now who gained more by cheating the system.

And who knows what would have happened then? That's the effect on ALL the clubs because the Demons had the EXTRA pick causing a domino effect! Are you getting all of this yet? The Storm had NO effect on the finals in 2010. The Bunnies beat us once out of the two times and the Broncos beat us the one time we met, and yet they both missed anyway! Manly should thank us because they made the finals and wouldn't have otherwise!!
Pook we lost our best player and we had to regroup. So stuff your view.

1 draft pick spot for one season was the affect of Melbournes tanking. The affect of the storms cheating was felt by every team and every fan for an entire season and it will go down in history as a lost opportunity for these teams.
Face it, tanking is a poor image and the AFL have acted to eliminate the incentive, but salary cap cheating is far far worse.

Ever heard of minimal benefit for cheating. AFL teams have 45 listed players. What one more draft pick going to do in the scheme of things? Nothing! All The demons cheated were themselves and their fans. The storm cheated the entire NRL community.

Who gives a shit what other NRL club supporters think of the Storm? Wah wah wah! I'd like to see you try and get publicly revealed what players are being paid individually now. Pay packets HAD to be cut to get under the salary cap, lame brain! Are you accusing the Storm of still breaching the salary cap?
