That is completely different. In fact his comments are to be applauded given they actually intend to support indigenous players.

Andrew McLeod, a very active AFL player on indigenous rights, completely supported his club. Why would he do that if Rendell was a racist?

"What I do know is that in all my dealings with Matt Rendell, I have never seen it (racism)," McLeod said in a statement on Saturday.
"I will be as keen as anyone to hear him explain his side of the story."
McLeod, considered among the greatest Adelaide players, said it was an understatement that he was disappointed with the controversy.
"Quite simply, I am very shattered that my football club has been questioned over its attitude to not recruit Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island players if they have two black parents," he said.
"If this was the case and I had an inkling that my club was racist, I wouldn't have spent 16 years in that establishment.

Where did i say ALL indigenous players? of course some come from isolated communities with little integration. Others from large metropolitan cities.

As I said, McLeod loved his club and saw not a trace of racism. Others who know Rendell agree.

Rendell wasn't misquoted, X! He said what he said! His cheap excuse was context and I don't accept it. Neither should anyone else with a skerrit of sense!

His context was that it could become an issue in the future if not addressed. If he believed it why did Adelaide regularly recruit indigenous players while he was a recruiter there?

Because I'll bet he had no say in the final decision of who to recruit.

Well derrrr. Read McClouds comments again and use your noggin for cryin out loud. Ok I'll help you out and do the thinking for you. McCloud is disappointed that his "Club" came into disrepute because of Rendells ignorance. He made not one comment to defend rendell, or the comments rendell made. Now why wouldnt he do that ...
