Jack's dad played many of rl games and was considered a champion of the sport. His son grew up in an nRL state and became an AFL Footballer. He's now won a premiership playing for a team in his own city, Sydney where his brother will now be joining him. Now that's a story =D>

Not at all. We don't get our knickers in a not when a story like this breaks. Even the kids dad said that's fine (that he wants to play rl). But when it's the other way around all hell breaks loose with rl fans and rl journos
It all comes down to fear. You fear the AFL and we don't fear the nRL. It really is that simple.

Meanwhile Kieran Jack's dad was a champion of rl, and Kieran has now won a premiership with Sydney, an nRL city.
A New South Welshman with a dad who ruled rl, now an AFL Premiership winner.

Good on him for having the guts to play a sport that his father didnt play although he had some family connections to league and he was brought up in Qld. His father played 5 games for North Melbourne. =D>
