then the same in the NRL
well for starters ... I'd say every NRL fan genuinely believes their side can make the play offs in 2013
the fans of many ... many VFL clubs cannot claim to have this confidence
but even when things start going off the rails for your NRL club & its obvious your club isn't going to make much of an impression
if you're an NRL fan ... you have at least got some other stuff to look forward too
SOO.... wether you follow QLD or NSW , this is 3 games the size of a GF & ... you're team is playing
the World Cup ..... we copped heaps from Kiwis when we lost the last one , its been a long wait n revenge is a dish best served cold
a rich tapestry of events.
yes .. a slow season at club level is not the end of the world for fans of other football codes in this nation
except ... vicky kicky
if yr club is shit in this comp ..... well , thats it ... there aint anything else for you.

RL internationals are a farce and rate worse than many home and away games!
SOO is about the only interesting part of the RL calender and thats only because the underdog keeps flogging the larger state

RL internationals are a farce and rate worse than many home and away games!
:
our tests rate better then MOST H&A games ... in our comp
&
MOST in the VFL too you ignorant F wit
infact ... only a handful of finals in either code would do better as well
1.6 Million for the test in October in Townsville last year
not bad for a farce eh c head

2011 Aus v NZ tests rated 940k and 1M for metro, beaten by many home and away AFL games this year

ah ..... poor ol spewie
75,000 will gather at Old Trafford Manchester for the Rugby League World Cup Final in November this year
3 Million english will watch on TV ...if the Lions make the final
thats .... 75,000 & 3 Million on TV
So the RL world cup in England is smaller than the AFL Grand Final in Australia hey? That's despite having more than 30 million people living there as well. Per capita the AFL really does kick that poor mans rugby's arse
England just doesn't care for bogans rugby. It's the shame of England.

yes & based on this
650K kiwis watched the NRL GF in 2011..... & thats with a 1/6 of the population of Australia
meaning VFL in Australia is smaller then Rugby League in New Zealand
per captia of course ... it kicks vicky kicky's @rse
Australians just don't care for singletball ..... do they C head ?

yes the regionals

the regionals who you & many other flogball followers said ... add nothing to the ratings as they are so inaccurate & will thus .... be ignored by broadcasters when determining how much RL's rights are worth
