Re: Question?
Tippett should have got two years! He knew more about what he was doing than ANY Storm player!!
The Storm paid a huge price. Two premierships gone and having to play a season without any premiership points, which in effect is a season's suspension for the entire club!!!!
Want to try again, X?

Tippett got fined and banned.
The Storms penalties were retrospective, allowing them to continue dominating the league. Adelaide's penalty will affect them prospectively for years to come.

Re: Question?
Bull$hit.
Storm players had to play for no premiership points, and had two premierships taken off them. If you think that's scot free you're dreamin'!
Tippett should have got two years and you can't argue against that.

Re: Question?
What? The Storm played for NO PREMIERSHIP POINTS! Hello! That equals a F**ING BAN, EINSTEIN!! A ban from the finals AND the extra revenue we would have got from it! No financial penalty? As some AFL doofus down here used to say; Pig's Arse!Xman wrote:They got no financial penalty and no ban.Striker wrote:Bull$hit.

Re: Question?
No it doesn't. They still enjoyed their win at the time. They still got to play the following years with full pay. They then went on their merry way dominating the next few years too.Striker wrote:What? The Storm played for NO PREMIERSHIP POINTS! Hello! That equals a F**ING BAN, EINSTEIN!! Re: Question?
A ban would mean they were banned from playing matches, idiot! Just like Tippett is.Striker wrote:What? The Storm played for NO PREMIERSHIP POINTS! Hello! That equals a F**ING BAN, EINSTEIN!! Re: Question?
Wrong! Banned means not playing for premiership points and not playing finals!!
X, a good club cleans itself up quick smart and turns a negative into a positive. That's what the Storm did. We took our medicine and came back snarling.

Re: Question?
Umm no lol. Whenever someone is found guilty in at the tribunal, they say "player x is banned from playing 2 matches" etc. Banned = being banned from playing. You cannot dispute that.Striker wrote:Wrong! Banned means not playing for premiership points and not playing finals!!

They played, they were paid. Not a banStriker wrote:So where are the premiership points from the Storm "playing" huh? You cannot dispute THAT! It was a BAN, Einstein! Playing pedantics doesn't work, bright boy!
