1. Independent = sporting experts who have no connection with the game whatsoever.
2. Only Melbourne is being investigated. Carlton and Richmond have been accused. And God knows who else got away with it!
3. Not sponsors that match the club they play for!! That's a freaking RORT!!
4. We lost players, and two flags. We had to play a season for no premiership points. Isn't that enough for you?
5. You are avoiding my point.
6. Where's your agreement with Goodes that plenty still goes on in the AFL and isn't reported?? What's the explanation for the lack of reporting? There's only one. Fear of the lack of integrity and the lack of action. I'll tell you what happens that they don't like. An apology is enough. If the AFL were really serious, racists should be delisted. For the record, the same should happen in the NRL.
1. Well show us these independant opinions then
2. LOL Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Even if they were found guilty it still doesnt make it rife, especially now the pick has gone
3. Hardly a rort when he disclosed the contract! COmpare that to the storm and their double contracts #-o
4. You never should have got the second. so you lost 1 flag. You only lost players to meet the salary cap FFS!
5. You have none
6. Goodes said they were winning the war against racism but there was still mmore work to do and that racism would in fact NEVER be fully eradicated. All the AFL can do is act on the incidents that have been reported, and they have acted well each time. If you have evidence to the contrary please share it or STFU

1. Most independent experts (if you want to call sports journalists, AFL enthusiasts and ex AFL players not payed by the AFL): believe that the Suns and the Giants will probabaly pick up a few flags between them in the next 3-10 years. Anyone else doesnt really know what they are talking about so why listen to them.
2. Teams may be investigated for tanking but since the priority pick is no longer a factor (2010 onwards) tanking should in my opinion not be a factor in the future. However anyone found guilty wether it be Melbourne, Carlton, Collingwood or anyone else should get a big fine and lose draft picks.
3. Both the AFL and NRL will have clubs that break the salary cap rules in the future and as long as there is a salary cap, dodgy officials and player managers there will be problems. All you can do is abolish the cap or catch them cheating as best as you can
4. The AFL competition speaks for itself with having more winners of the premiership over the last 10 and 20 years then the NRL. If any comp is rigged it is the english premier league but that is because of money.
5. Crowd drops in 2011 and 2012 were expected due to new teams with lower stadium capacity then the league average, 4 live games on FTA where there use to be none and ground redevelopments. If this trend continues next year where there are no new changes this will be a worry but at this stage it is not an issue at all.
6. Go back to the early 90's players copped racism because other players saw that calling someone a black $%^$% really affected them and they could get away with it. Thank god that has changed it was a big blight on the game and it is no longer really a factor apart from the odd crowd member or very stupid player. when it does occur it has be brought to light and delt with harshly. Im not sure that RL has done the same, by all reports ignoring in recent SOO games racist taunts despite having many more pacific islanders and different (sorry if this is a bad description) looking people running out on the field. Soccer has also had its issues even more so despite being the most played sport around the world. This is and will probabaly be a major issue for all sports into the future but I think it is poor form by all trying to single out one competition and say that it is a racist competition, which many RL fans have done to AFL despite not really looking into whats really going on.
