Hey Stewie, why don't you and I buy Souths.
We could make a few changes.
.
Not sure about that Cos. As Russell found out, owning an nRL club is not viable. Selling memberships cheap as chips like South do isn't going make ends meet at the end of the day.
South Sydney ..... 4 annual profits in the last 4 years
Port Tankelaide ...... .. brother can you spare me a dime [-o< [-o< [-o< ?
15 of the 16 nRL clubs do not make a profit. Brisbane is the only one that does, so that leaves South Shitney, well....
Raiderdave no more lying please.

With the amount of rl players decreasing at a rapid rate, professional poor man's rugby could well die off in a few decades.

While the early years were difficult financially and the Rabbitohs continued to live beyond their means, they have traded profitably for the past four seasons. In the process, the club's turnover has doubled from about $8.5 million before the privatisation deal to $17 million this year. It is a good time for Crowe sell his stake and put the Rabbitohs in a strong position to control their destiny again.

And once Crowe is out they will go back to how they were over a decade ago.
As for Souths making a profit...
With only the Brisbane Broncos making a profit in 2011 the NRL spent millions of dollars they made in profits expanding its Moore Park office.
Its no wonder the clubs are refusing to play next season if they are not granted a 2mill increase from Gallop..

Poor poor spewie, South Sydney could die tomorrow and in 100 years time, more people would still have heard of them more than Porks Cowerlaide.

Pork Cowerlaide, one of the smallest most insignificant sporting brands in the country, and that includes the A League and S15 sides

Yet still average higher crowds than just about every nRL club, including your shit team, despite Port being shit for the past 5 years. Tell me which teams are smaller again? Dick head

Funniest thing I've read all day. Your respect for Russell Crowe's organisation running skills is impressive and telling stewie.
