Both Eels and Dragons members were let in for free. Sydney is the biggest market for nRL, and you're celebrating that you FINALLY had a game that outdrew the Swans. Imagine if a game between Collingwood and North Melbourne only managed to beat a Storm game by 36 people

I guess you have to take whatever meager victories you can find. Hey, I hear Izzy's quit GWS to go back to the nRL with his tail between his legs. There's another "win" for you guys

Issy played 12 games of AFL........look like a bank robbery to me........

Tail between his legs.......And sheedy was furios..........yeah looks like our boy took the whole of the AFL for a ride....

Good man Issy come back to a real mans game, we dont blame you for taking the money with no real commitment to the sport i would have done the same.....welcome back home Issy Faluo.. =D>

eel ... hows this

he was getting a motza .. big $$$$$$ ... for doing nothing
zip .. nada , just run a bit more then he was used to
he didn't have to be good .. he didn't have to care if he wasn't ... the VFL the pathetic desperate w@nkers that they are..... would have kept handing ova the huge dosh to him
but he had so little passion for this garbage sport .. this fumbling bumbling woeful Victorian abortion of a game .... he disliked it so much
hated it so much

he has chosen to take half the money he was getting
& have to work ten times harder to get it .... 8-[

what a great advert for VFL this is ........... :-k

he didnt have to do much. It was all about promotion and the media played there part...

what sort of promotion have they now got ?

young lads across NSW the ACT & QLD .. we have a question for you

get double the money playing VFL .. & do nothing for it & have no pressure on you really
or
get half the money & work your ring off to get it with tens times the pressure
Izzy chose the latter 8-[

those young lads just got told playing VFL is the pitts ... it is sh.it
Izzy's influence swings both ways C head

Ahh no.

He came in with no experience and struggled. K Hunt showed it can be done.

Izzy did his job and made the switch. The media did the rest and reported it, and the giants, repeatedly.

Easy

Rubbish. He showed you can't switch codes as an adult. The giants are targeting new kids, not adults. Just because you're too stupid to see the difference doesn't mean they are.

Izzy's job wasn't really to show the way, it was to create the media interest, and that happened in spades.

Youre the dopey fukker. Its pretty clear I meant you cant begin a new code as an adult and expect to become a professional at it. At least K Hunt had played the game in his youth.

How would they be upset? He was failing and receiving more and more criticism by the week. HGe did his job in switching codes and creating the media attention. Now hes done his job he can piss off and let a real player take the role. A cashed up giants team will be pleased as punch.
