Wehell wehell wehell, whaddaya know eh? We knew it was only a matter of time. Xman and TLPG, the pair of you should hang your heads in shame and take this as a reality check to take more heed of what I and others say on this forum. :D Then atleast some good will come out of this whole furore.

Now with this in mind, I'd like a few things done quickiddy sticks.

1. Reopen the original tanking file. It's an all time classic thread, receiving much interest and passioned debate.

2. TLPG to publicly apologise to myself and our members for taking things to the personal level. While his cheap threats were not taken as threatening by yours truly... i mean really TLPG wouldnt and couldnt hurt a fly apart from telling it that he's right and the fly is wrong, which he probably does often in the summertime, god bless him. Even so he should apologise as he took the debate out of the realms of fightclub guidelines and escalated the debate to a personal threat level, hence pookus and him going at it in the latter posts.

3. If TLPG fails to apologise, which he no doubt will, I strongly recommend his moderator badges be taken off him. We cannot have a moderator who blatantly breaks forum guidelines without at the very least showing some remorse for his action. And let me remind you this isnt the first occasion where he's indicated i need to be "bashed". [-X

Other than that its been great stuff and I'm happy to see atleast you have apparently acknowledged the truth in this matter Xman.

Thanking you in advance,
Yours,
KE :salute:
1. The 'original tanking file' is still open. In fact there are many. The recent one created by eels is locked because of poor member behaviour and will not be reopened.

3. take it up with beaussie.

Oh and I have reconsidered my stance on this matter in view of evidence from an ex-Melbourne administrator. His comments seem pretty convincing so I am happy to update my view. Previous comments oon the matter still remain speculation.

The worst that could happen would be a similar thing to what happened to Carlton loss of draft picks and a 1 million dollar fine.

Pies, that penalty wasn't for tanking. It was for salary cap breaches.

Unlike Xman - I'm not changing my view. This is based in one simple legal fact;

Innocent until proven guilty.

There is no guilty verdict - yet. Until that comes the benefit of the doubt goes to the Melbourne FC.

That is all.

As I said from the start and the thing that upset me is the treatment of Brock McClean. An honest guy who made a brave stand gets his good named smashed for no good reason but ego.He is the one who truly deserves an apology.Sorry if I offended but where I come from you stick by your friends.

Just joined and need to say that the Demons are pathetic and so are the AFL. The NRL doesn't have a draft at all and this is why we don't! The AFL needs to be brought before a public enquiry and told to tell the truth.

The NRL is a laughing stock. They have players changing teams early in the season before. Its a joke.

Preventing that is restraint of trade, X! The AFL's draft should be taken to court and challenged on those grounds.

That's like saying contracts are a restraint of trade. I'd take the draft every day of the week compared to players changing teams mid season like musical chairs.

Let them! If they want to change it means something's wrong where they are and they want no part of it! What, you support effective imprisonment??

Yeah, let them destroy the fabric of their team.

No wonder NRL struggles for crowds and members. The clubs have no soul, no history, no tradition. The fans follow suite.
