Is it just me or does it seem like a bad idea to be declaring war on an organization that your hoping will become your major broadcaster.Doesn't young Lachie have a bit of clout at channel ten. Seems to me that the new commission isn't very happy with news could it be that they know they aren't going to get the money they so need. Gallop makes the Perfect foil when the cash don't come and they can say sacking him was proactive instead of reactive.
Hey Pookus you have only now just figured out that Rugby league as a whole is not happy with NewLtd?
Superleague War ring any bells in that little head of yours...
Look go get a strong coffea and some breaky and see if you can come up with a better speculator then that rubbish.
BTW Gallop has not been allowed near the TV Rights negotiating table, so your theory needs some work mate....

You have to admit it is not a good look.I realise the hate for news but it seems the commision is trying to cut all ties.It is definitely best for league to do so but the timing seems strange.Like it or not they arguably own the 2 most important clubs when it comes to expansion and TV rights. Blokes like Hartigan (a Murdoch lackie)are making a lot of noise and he wouldn,t be speaking out of turn. The Murdochs seem pissed, do you really want to take on uncle rup again?

It seems Gollop's successor is even more small minded.
Nice try Cos.
