Re: KE's Gold Coast Report
It'squite silly though, what you've tried to do there. Isnt it beaussie?

Here here. Tank boy has no idea!Beaussie wrote:I prefer photographic evidence over the opinions of you anyday.King-Eliagh wrote:And beaussie, you're pictures are completely biased. One could easily take snaps of both teams which indicate the exact opposite of what you've found. Nice try, but completely invalid evidence there. You may as well delete your post as its really quite silly when you think about it.

Re: KE's Gold Coast Report
Xman you're the one who supports tanking. I'd bet my enlightened soul that one could gather photographic evidence providing the exact opposite picture of what beaussie has presented. That's why its pretty silly...what he did there.

Re: KE's Gold Coast Report
Mention of tanking is off topic here.
KE I suggest YOU provide evidence in photography that opposes Beau! If you think it's so easy - go ahead!

I have provided visual evidence, KE has provided his opinion.
We all know KE has no credibility round here and has BS points to prove it.
Case closed.
Gold Coast = AFL heartland

Re: KE's Gold Coast Report
I dont support either side TLPG so sorry but i wont bother. The proof can be found in the relatively low and high crowd figures of both teams. Its elementary stuff really and if you need a photo for that then you're pretty dumb...
Oh, sorry, you will definitely need a photo TLPG!

Re: KE's Gold Coast Report
Beau provided them. Photos are perfect proof (like someone playing our great game for instance?) of a point. Opinion is useless against evidence like that. And if you want to compare the Suns to the Titans when it comes to crowds........

11k eh. Thanks just. So TLPG you believe with a crowd of 11k I couldnt get a snapshot similar to beaussies one of the titans above?
Me thinks you're wrong again TLPG.

Still better than the fudged figures we are accustomed to coming out of Titans HQ.justanotherleaguefan wrote:Only 11k for the suns on the weekend. GC really love there AFL

Re: KE's Gold Coast Report
Titans home average for 2012 so far: 12114 (if that's accurate as Beau speculated)
Suns home average for 2012 so far: 13843

The Titans are very good at creative accounting in a sport that invented rubbery figures with attendances. Crowds at their two home games have been estimated at only two-thirds the registered figures.

Roy Masters blabbers about anything without any conclusive evidence. He's quite mad actually. But those figures look about equal dont they TLPG. So therefore beaussies silly pictures are simply misleading and silly. If you cant agree with that TLPG then you are basically going against the figures you just posted. Dont go putting your foot in the poo on this one ok.

Head in the sand again I see. Why can't you ever admit the failings within the NRL?King-Eliagh wrote:Roy Masters blabbers about anything without any conclusive evidence. He's quite mad actually.
You don't trust old Roy's opinion, how about Stadiums Queensland?
Fudge, fudgeTitans fans missing in action

THE Titans' crowds crisis could be worse than originally feared.
Stadiums Queensland is about to launch an investigation into a ticketing error that led to almost 14,000 extra fans being added to the club's total attendance at Skilled Park during the past 12 months.
As the Titans and AFL's Suns wage a cross-code battle for fans on the Gold Coast, a probe of Stadiums Queensland's most recent annual report uncovered major irregul-arities in the Titans' official home crowd figures.
The 95-page government report, detailing the activities of Queensland's nine big sporting stadiums for the 2009-10 financial year, showed:
* None of the Titans' home crowds announced at 14 games matched the attendances printed in the annual report.
* Thirteen of Gold Coast's 14 games featured inflated attendances.
* The greatest discrepancy was an extra 2209 fans for the Titans' home clash against the Knights last year.
In the 12-month period, the Titans' total crowds for their 14 home games, according to the annual report, was 237,527.
Yet the club's total attendances based on game-day announcements was 251,324.
The extra 13,979 spectators equates to a beefed-up attendance of nearly 1000 fans, on average, per home game.
On five occasions, the Titans' game-day crowd announcement exceeded the relevant annual report figure by more than 1500 fans.
A Stadiums Queensland spokesman said the organisation would look into the reasons for wildly fluctuating crowd figures at Titans home games.

Re: KE's Gold Coast Report
Well i have to agree there's been some fudging. There's a fair bit of evidence there i must admit. But still the photo you provide is in no way representative of the crowd comparison between the titans and the thunder. In no way!
