Exactly and RL fans are saying that loud and clear as you can tell from the constant commentary on the issue of boring games and the drop in crowds and tv ratings.

Shame no one at the NRL or ARLC seems to be listening. Oh well.

what .. do you think the squillions of RL fans out there are going to tune in to watch the skilless gimps in your game ?

I think not

RL will sort our its minor issues

VFL have issues beyond fixing ....... woefully unskilled players.. woefully uncompetitive teams
a woefully lopsided comp
VFL... down the S bend it goes
Hmmm

One code is up on crowds and ratings, one is down. :D

who yours ?

down 1550 a game already attendence wise
.... still only just matching RL .. with all VFL games now on pay .. & an extra game to show ..on TV

VFL failing in 2012

VFL failing in 2012
NRLs average and total crowds are down. AFLs total is way up!

NRLs ratings down. AFLs way up!

Nice hey

NRLs average and total crowds are down
they won't be after round 8 ....
AFLs total is way up!
80K up .. but 3 extra games played ... unlike VFL fans .. we're not stupid
NRLs ratings down
incorrect .. they're well up on 2011
AFLs way up!
falling each week ... with rnd 4 looking like it will be down on rnd 3.. which was down on rnd 2.. which was down on rnd 1
with an extra game ... & all games on pay .. the ratings still only equalling the NRL's

VFL failing badly in 2012

Oh Dave. You can't expand into new markets and keep the same average!

Do the storm drag the NRL average down still after 15 years? :-k

The total number of fans watching each week has increased. There are new AFL fans watching this year that were not in previous years. That's expansion.

Total crowd rising doesn't equal falling dunderbrain!

That would be average and total crowd falling, like the nRL.

To answer that question you need some sort of criteria.
Worst football club would be worst performing football club but by what measure?
The simple answer answer would be what football club produces the least from the available input.
Not surprising the answer lies in privately run clubs especially soccer clubs.
We cannot site GCU because it folded but there's many others in soccer.
Of course some would sugest the titans because they are about to fold
but the standout prize for sucking the coffers dry is the storm -
years and years of moolah poured into it and still losing money at an unacceptable rate in front of both their fans.

& the 6 or 7 teams full of oxygen thieves in the VFL Cuzzy ?
where are they on your list ?

no doubt the worst is the Thuns .... triple the coin pumped into it compared to the Storm
yet just 3 wins in 28 outings

I mean compare the Thuns insipid ... gutless effort last Sat night to the Titans effort at Brookvale against the defending premiers Manly
which was amazing , .. simply astonishing ... full of courage & heart
sports fans on the Gold Coast would look at the 2 teams
it won't take them long to work out who is worthy of their support ... & it aint that pack of singlet wearing stick insects in red

the Thuns .... goooonnnnneeeee

Yes a simple cost benefit of the AFL's new franchises shows up the poorly thought out plans of the AFL. We all know the AFL expected much more in western sydney and the GC but they have gotten the bare minimum with both teams looking to fail miserably into the unforeseeable future.

GC made a operating profit in it's first year when widely expec ted to take years.
A big win forthe AFL, that's without counting the demise of the opposition.

GWS who would have thought.
38k to ANZ.
68% capacity to BIS
22k average home crowd.
GWS performing better onfield than the SUN's first year.

Though i notice you didnt put much elbow greese into the last point. I think suns had 1 win at this stage last season. GWS have none. Now get down and polish that turd harder cos!
