Found it and I've commented;

"Crowd averages were also up and our three Super Rugby teams involved in direct one team-one town competition with NRL rivals – the Red, Brumbies and Rebels – all won the battle of the turnstiles by drawing higher per game attendances."

In the case of the Reds - wrong. Including the two finals, the home average for the Reds was 33,000. The Broncos average was 35,000. That's a loss, not a win.

The Reds outdid the Broncos?? Holy Crap!!

they didn't ...
baloney of the highest order
the reds average H&A 29,924..... with 2 finals ( one being the grand final) attracting over 90,000 .. about 33K
330K aggregate all up to 10 games

the Broncos
398,505 to their 12 H&A games at an average of 33,209
97,417 to their 2 finals
495,922 aggregate all up to 14 games at an average of 35,423

the Reds ..... weren't even close

I'd say the rest of this article is BS too

16.3K H&A.. 17.3 K after finals
that union figure of 20.6 K is also after 2 finals that drew 97K dipshit

their H&A figure was a tick ova 19K

fact is ... RU is going appallingly in this country
as their average used to be 26K (2005) .... now its just ova 20... a 25% drop
even the best turd polishers in the land ... flogball fans.. can't talk that decline up [-(

ours is growing
theres is not

our respective averages will meet in the next few years ... ours on the way up ... theres further on the way down

Super Rugby is an irrellevance so much so.. it can't secure FTA rights
we have 16 ( soon to be 18) professional clubs
they have only 5

its not even a contest.
