a club that hasn't competed in the NRL for 12 years folding ... means the AFL's timing for GWS couldn't be better ?
please
let go of those straws

They've been playing in the NSW Cup in case you missed it, peanut! Hasn't competed huh?

No, the beneficiares will be AFL because of the presence of the Campbelltown AFC as well as the Giants. No league at Leumeah is trouble for the NRL. It's Campbelltown AFC that competes with the NSW Cup so it's relevant, "wombat".

no league at Lumeah ?
the 300 Junior League teams & 48 senior ones in the Macarthur area are all folding too are they ?
like I said
Wests no longer playing to 75 family & friends at Campbelltown stadium every 2nd week ... will make no difference to anything
your 2nd tier flogball garbage can have them.
Wests Tigers playing to 18K there 4 times a year does ... & thats not changing... & won't.

With nobody playing at Leumeah, those grass roots teams will see no future and go in a direction that has a future in the area. AFL. West Tigers will be playing all their games at Leichardt because that is where they pull the crowds.

proof of this now ........ or Xman will remove this post
the proof must not be an article as thats just opinions ... not that you'd find one anyway
it must be definitive proof that the Tigers plan to move all their games away from campbelltown to Leichardt.
hurry up
haven't got all day .........

the Steelers back in the NSW cup.. the Magpies out
Its sad if the magpies do end up folding ... a great ol club in the day ... in the day
but times change
& I'd say 95% of West Tigers supporters in the campbelltown area no longer even relate themselves with the Western Suburbs club.
they follow the Tigers
& they'll now have their club in the NSW cup called that now too.

Fairly accurate I'd say there Raider. My pops was a staunch Maggies supporter. Although pretty shattered at the the time of the merge, he now happily follows the tigers without any worries from the past. He calls them wests and supports them just as much as ever.

I just challenged my source and he backed away so I double checked myself and found out that my source was wrong. So I revoke the comment as fact.
But I will say in my opinion that the folding of the NSW Cup Magpies will have a detrimental effect on the local rugby league.

Bahahahahaha, why would the Tigers merge with Parra, they had their chance a decade ago but said no because they would have ended up where the magpies are now.
You really have no idea about who the biggest club is in Sydney do you?
