Just looked up the AFL participation stats on the ABS website. Although they give stas for 2005/06 unfortunately it appears the participation rates in NSW were too low to bother putting in the stats. To get some comparative value for the claims made and agreed on by the AFL bumpkins in this thread, in all of victoria in 05/06 (not so long ago) there were a total of 120,800 males participating in AFL. Iwould expect this figure has remained relatively steady. So given this and the number of 86k U12s AFL players in nsw, which our AFL members agree on, it looks like the under 12s in NSW will be competing with the total AFL playing population in victoria in a few short years
What is wrong with you AFL clowns!

I don't have the figures on me but I'm sure the playing numbers in Victoria would be well over 100,000.

And I do realise that the ABS is a very respectable source for stats. What are you trying to say xman?

Read the other thread about that article you quoted. They were talking about auskick kids under the age of 12 playing in NSW, not 11yo AR players playing for clubs in Sydney. Or are you as dopey as Raiderdave too?

What a lazy post Xman, I have little time to be searching through and reading other threads. I think its quite simply put here and cant see why you have avoided the issue I raised. 80+ Aussie rules participants in NSW would mean that nsw will soon overtake victoria in terms of aussie rules players. Surely you cant believe this Xman?

As I have already said, Victoria has well over 100,000 under 12 players. They have the highest numbers in the country and will continue to do so.

no
he just read the article too ..
its says .. 86K U12's in NSW
nothing to do with the AFL's infamous fudge program ..auskick.. according to the article
it just goes on to say they have this too .. no reference to what you're suggesting .. that the 86K figure is also .. ausfudge numbers
nice try
but an utter fail at your attempts to cover up this AFL bull honkey
