Haha, coming from a supporter of a code that regularly jerks off over garbage TV ratings results. Yet the AFL just let their product do the talking and cash in!
The AFL attract far more media attention because far more Australians are interested in AFL.
they're amazing results .............
having one less FTA game a week
& only shown in prime time ... in 2 capital cities .. to the AFL's 5
but still... belting the AFL to a bloody pulp
yep
thats a news worthy story
& it makes your last comment quite silly really....

Omg! What's the point in the NRL having 5 city broadcasts? There's no teams in 2 of the cities, and the other regularly gets crowds of less than 10k despite being ladder leaders located in a city that loves attending sport!!!
The cumulative figures are rubbish as shown in the tv ratings thread on this forum, and you are now ignoring it. The NRL claim to have won a ratings race that counts heavily in their favor, includes internationals, a longer season, and 7 weekly viewable games to the AFL's 4.
Yet after all this, all they do is compare their deal to the massive result clinched by the AFL! " look at me, look at me" DG cries, just like the ugly sister craving attention. She prostituted herself to payTV long ago. Now all the boys are sick of her.
Cool story bro!

LOL...........
like I said to some other vicky kicky fan on here
you can't sail a boat on denial
it aint a river in Africa

Great news for Australia's national game, we need more cricket grounds.

I would like to draw the attention of everyone to this year's state of origin ratings.
Sydney 3,158,000 (naturally)
Melbourne 925,000 (good for AFL heartland)
Brisbane 2,494,000 (naturally)
Adelaide 136,000 (a joke)
Perth 142,000 (a joke)
Those last two are pertinent, and remember that those are the cumulative totals for all three games.

Bahahaha, yet the Swans rated just over 20k twice in a row this season in Prime time and you are having a crack at 2 states figures that don't have a team let alone anything to do with State of Origin?
Delusional, AFL delusional.

The Melbourne figures aren't surprising given melbourne love sport, especially when shown against no other sport and in prime time. SOO is about the rivalry and fierce contest more than the sport itself. It's like the Olympics. You won't find most people ever watching badminton, or diving, or shooting normally. But show it in a format where there is a significant contest like the Olympics and people will watch.
But does that make them fans of badminton, diving, shooting, RL?
I think not.
Those figures for SA and WA for prime time are just horrible!

And there Foxtel ratings says xman, LOL.
Go on, do the usual AFL fan thing and give all of Foxtels national ratings to the swans and Lions to boost the numbers.

I'm not. 1/3rd will still make an ok tally considering their ladder position.

Hmm, not relevant.........
NRL claim victory. Networks pay AFL HEAPS more. Even most NRL people believe AFL will still get more when the latest deals are done.
How are the relevant then?
