Prove that the 16,000 Broncos members from last year were for the leagues club and not the football club.

5 to 10 years ?![]()
cooee ..... they will probably do it in 2012
the Lions only had approx 20K members in 2011
just 4K ahead of the Broncos
the Broncos are aiming for 20K in 2012 .. they'll do that easily , they'll get to maybe 22K
the Lions are hopeless ... & will struggle to match their numbers from 2011 next year
5 to 10 years
try next year

No wonder the memberships went up.cooee wrote:RL clubs have only started pushing memberships in the last three years and in that time the Broncos have gone from 11,000 to 16,000. Increasing each year even though they had their worst season on field in 2010. The Broncos have room to grow with an average crowd of 34,000 and only 16,000 members while the Lions lost 8k members with the inclusion of the suns this season.
As for privately owned vs community clubs, the Knights couldn't be more happy with the switch from community to private. Record crowds and members.
Really, let's be honest. They represent 2million people! So 16k or 0.008% of the city are members! Oh dear.![]()
Imagine if collingwood, who represent 1/9th of 4 million, had only 0.008% members. That'd be only 3,555 members. That's almost NRL levels. They actually have 70,000 or 15.8% preresentation!
Yes, I imagine they areTopper wrote:The Leagues Club must be delighted with this effort.
And the lions had a heap of memberships from retired old victorians who followed Fitzroy plus a heap pets put pen to paperRaiderdave wrote:cooee wrote:I can't see the Broncos matching the big clubs like Collingwood in membership any time soon but they will match and pass the lions in members within the next 5-10 years.
