At least Lockyer had the opportunity to play other NATIONS in rugby league.

What opportunity is there in aussie rules?

NONE. Except that hybrid snoozefest that uses a different shape ball.
Actually the ball is the same shape, unless you want to get out a tape measure and be pedantic about it.

He can play against other nations within the competition. We have Irishmen, South Africans, Fijian and Sudanese. At least.

And the NRL don't have footballers from other nations? 29% of the total amount of players in the NRL are polynesian.

I was not talking about the International rules series, cooee. I was talking about AFL and NRL balls.

And how many NRL players are South African or Sudanese? Or Irish?

I don't know. How many AFL players are English or New Zealanders?

English there are currently two. Brad Moran (North Melbourne) and Will Thursfield (Richmond). Overall there have been 19.

New Zealand there are currently four including Karmichael Hunt. Overall there have been 18.

Where did you get Karmichael Hunt from again?

Khunt turned his back on New Zealand when he chose to play for Australia.

Khunt by name Khunt by nature.

Brad Moran isn't a current player and Will Thursfiled is retired also.

You asked how many AFL players are New Zealanders. Hunt is a New Zealander. It's on his birth certificate and you can't change that.

You have no home grown New Zealand players just one you poached from rugby league.

We have had 18 players who were born in New Zealand. Stop making excuses and accept the fact.

So how many Irish, South African and Sudanese NRL players have there been?

7 South African have played rugby league in Australia.

Fred Anderson, JP du Plessis, Len Killeen, Sean Rutgerson, Jarrod Saffy, Alan Skene and Brian Skosana.

Most Irish rugby league players have the english super league but Brian Carney has played in Australia.

Don't think the NRL have had any Sudanese players. Have the AFL?
