the swans averaged 30k a seaon? I never realised how succseful they were. Do any Sydney teams average that high? That is amazing.
Does that make the Swans the most popular club in Sydney? Wonder when the storm would be able to say that hahahahahaha

hmmm lemme see
30K at the ground ( now 25K) ... & 50K watching them on TV ... thats between 75 to 80K devotees
& the average for a Sydney NRL team
15K at the ground ...... & 350K on TV ...

"15k of both team's supporters + a randomly made up TV figure of who maybe some of those watchers support my team"
I cant find a calculator that works out that figure sorry.

& its 30K of both over 2 games
so what ....
there are 135K rusted on League fanatics attending NRL games in Sydney
last time I looked . thats a lot more then 25 to 30K
& the 350K is the average FTA Audience in Sydney for an NRL game
hmmmm

... yep.. , thats a lot more then 50K for a Swans game in that same city
face it
a turd milkshake is more popular in Sydney .. then the Swans

lol 30k at a game in Sydeny, happens once a blue moon. More often get games under 10k! Pretty stupid to argue that the 350k people watching the game all support the one team!
So the point stands the Swans are the most popular club in Sydney.

Ok
another way then
then its 175K per club ...... thats rusted on .... to a passing interest in each club watching every week
X 9 clubs
& we have 1,575,000 NRL fans or varying levels in Sydney watching on TV .... & 135K attending games
for 1,710,000 fans all up divded by 9
190,000 per club
lets see how many Swans fans there are in Sydney shall we
ah.... 75 to 80K
the Swans the most popular team in Sydney ... nuh , not in your nelly

Raiderdave says "ok i will make up another figure and say that is how man people supports rugby league teamsin Sydney".
So if the average Sydney rugby league team has 190k fans that means that less than 7% of those fans are going to watch the games live lol WTF????. That is horrendous, what type of fans are these? This is a great example of the difference between the codes. One has a strong future with real fans and a signed TV deal, the other has 14/16 broke clubs (even though they supposedly have 190k fans each lol).
I think what is really happening is a bunch of bored Sydney people have nothing better to do with their time so they just watch a game of league on TV. Then RaiderDave likes to say these are fanatical Rugby League fans. Yeah right lol. Keep living in your dream land.

No need to get aggressive! Though I guess you did just realise that even with the advantage of your own made up formula... AFL is still twice the sport league is /smashed.
