( this is a double dip anyway ..... one takes care of the other)
it is quite clear
RL is the more popular sport on TV
& so

You're delusional. You lot are not more popular on any key indicator. Get your head out of the sand and man up and face reality.

AFL is the most popular because Melbournians all follow sport. Sydney siders are distracted by other things such as food, fashion, real estate, education, BBQs, beaches, etc.

AFL is the market leader in half of one country lol..
You don't have 28 first grade clubs in 4 countries do you.
Your exhibition games in China are a laughing stock.
Also AFL being shown on 7mate in NSW & QLD instead of 7 is hardly the merits of a number 1 code across the country.
Wouldn't 7 network put AFL on their main channel if it was so popular? This means you can't even watch AFL on HD in NSW & Qld on free to air.
Not only that, your AFL footy show is shown after midnight in these 2 states also.
As for Rugby, globally they are well ahead of League. But the sport is far from healthy in Australia.
They wouldn't need to cut the Western Force if they had so much support.

Again proving how dopey you are. Channel 7 broadcast Sydney vs Hawthorn on their primary channel and 7HD just last weekend and the boost in Sydney viewer numbers helped them win the night against the NRL and Union nationally.

Yeah, just like your one Footy Show in the AFL states. We however also get AFL Gameday live every Sunday morning at 10am on 7mate in NSW and Qld.
