that didn't have a result .... & decided nothing
so was pointless
there are plenty of great games throughout the year
but someone gets something at the end of them

no
they pay to see a team hopefully win .. & one lose
that being the definition of " decider "
something has to be decided
if its a great game thats a bonus
but I can tell you now
they don't pay to see neither a win or a loss occur in a decider
that is absurd
but that is the AFL .. the epitomy of absurd

Superb banter folks.
I'm not going to the AFL GPF this year so fortunately wont be risking my hard earned dollars for the possibility of well watching a game that doesnt really mean anything, a game that barely exists but to disappoint the masses and all the players who played in it.
While up in Darwin this year I watched a Collingwood match in the pub. There were quite a number of Pies fans up there, just everyday feral AFL bogans. I now actually feel for those of them who no doubt spent their fortnights pay, got a loan just to be there on the day, perhaps even changed their underwear and washed their armpits for the day and then.... .... .... .... nothing. The worst of it for them would have been watching their team win the rematch while back in Darwin, missing the once in a lifetime oppotunity to watch your side win a GF.
Poor feral bogans

Exactly Onions. Anyway back on topic, the NRL clearly isn't confident they could sellout their Grand Final in the final week. Clearly not an issue for the AFL where demand is always much, much greater than supply.

we'd sell it out in hours ....
probably quicker the the AFL as we have 20K less seats
Ticketek would be sent into meltdown
the AFL don't release all the tickets to their GPF on the monday after the prelims
they sell theirs well in advance too .. as it would be stupid to do this.
the fact tens of thousands of people are buying tickets to our GF not even knowing if their team will be playing is testimony to how big the event is & our fans know they'll see the premiers on the night of our GF
shame the same can't be said for the three ringed circus
the AFL GPF

Yeah, that explains why tickets are on sale months ahead of the actual event. You're so dopey.
