Ch 9 Melb has been instructed by head office not to show Storm games
as they know they'll actually do OK in the ratings ...
if they did show the Storm & attract decent ratings as they did on the few occasions the storm were shown
this would lessen the amount the NRL will have to concede in getting the NRL shown in the Sthn states essentially costing Ch 9 Money

its a commercial decision
smart on their part , sneaky ... but smart

Hahaha, you're hilarious. You now present conspiracy theories as to why Channel 9 does not in reality want to get smashed in the ratings by showing NRL prime time in Melbourne. Funny :_<>

the storm would get smashed by feebleball in Melb no doubt
but to the extent the Swans do by the NRL in Sydney .... nah , not that badly
in fact they would & do rate a haeck of a lot better as does RL in general in Melb
Hell.. the Swan gets slaughtered when theres nothing else on 8-[

put the Storm on up against nothing in Melb, like the Swans are regularly on against no other sport in Sydney
& the Storm would double the ratings of the Swans

hence 9 knowing it would hurt them commercially to do this in the next TV deal ... they know the Storm would do a lot better then those ratings murderers.. the Swans

How long do you have to be watching a program to count as a viewer?

laugh .... you mean a nervous laugh

you laugh nervously 8-[ but were gob smacked at what a spectacle you were watching & fearful of what this juggernaut could do if given half a chance ... you give a nervous chuckle :? & after having only intending on a quick look... you're glued to the TV for the rest of the telecast

well that would explain the massive ratings numbers because yes .. you'd be included
thanks for the support grim .... hooked aren't ya

For Pay TV just one minute and that includes replays that are added to the total.

It's one minute for Pay TV and 15 minutes for FTA TV.
