I want to know why this friday croc? The game isnt till round 6. Hows about the finalisation for the bet be laid down in 2 wednesday's time?

And what about that money you already owe beaussie? To tell you the truth I'm worried if i win you wont pay up.... :?
As I thought KE - you're scurrying for cover and trying to provide smokescreens around the issue. I want to confirm the bet now, but I thought I'd give someone who's balls are yet to drop a few days to build up the courage.

You've been posting several times on here in a few different threads about how slow the Lions are, how they'll finish 12th, how Voss and Brown are slow and have no impact and how Matthews is a drunk.

Given this belief, and in the same breath sprouting the pace and success of the Swans, it is rather puzzling as to why you wouldn't jump at my offer of some "easy" money.

Do you want to back the Swans to beat the Lions in Round 5 for $200?

Yes or no KE?

Cut the questions - back them now or piss off.

Do you have the balls?

(My prediction - KE will slide into a hole for 3-4 days until the heat subsides on this issue!)

Croc man its not hot here, kinda chilly actually. The game isnt on until 3 weekends time, I have other more prominent bets on my mind. Like my personal bet with beaussie on how long it'll take you to get the balls to talk about beaussies money and how the two of you never resolved the issue. My bet is never but hey u might prove me wrong. :o

Now it seems you're taking me as some stupid fool who dumps his money without thinking about it....not unlike yourself especially after last seasons debacles where u lost hundreds to beaussie which finished in a dummy spit finale evil growler would be proud of right here on this site

No no im much different and am totally unnaffected by your childish taunts much like a master poker player is unnaffected by the phoney body language of other players. No i look deeper dear croc. If you dont want to make the bet in the week of the game you're the one backing out. Make your mind up or "piss off"

KE

1. The game is in Week 5 - not Week 6 as you are incorrectly stating. That's 10 days away;

2. I'll happily discuss with Beaussie about any money I allegedly owe him. Shite, I'll tell you what, if Beaussie posts on here that I owe him money and the amount he believes I owe him, I'll pay it into his account that day! No further questions asked!

3. What's to think about - even money about the Premiers against the Team running 14th and "slower than a wet week" according to yourself. If you don't want to take the bet now, that's fine, but your quips about the weaknesses of the Lions have no merit or potency because you don't have the courage to back up your convictions. That's gutless!

4. What would cause you to change your mind in 10 days? What if the Swans lose this weekend and the Lions beat bottom placed Richmond. Would that really change your mind? Didn't the Swans beat the Lions at the Gabba last year and at Telstra Dome by 80 odd points?

I ask for a third time - do you want to back the Swans at even money for $200 against the Lions in Round 5 with me? Yes or no?

Croc....

1. I dont know where you're getting your info from but i see round six for the swans lions game.

2. Beaussie's already discussed these issues with you, he doesnt care anymore but i'll tell you what pay the 100 shmackas into my account, i'll pm you the details.

3. Your thoughts and suggestions surrounding my and your reasons for betting on teams support my reasons for suggesting you're a big loser when it comes to betting....and so does last year.

4. Your 'tough' talk when talking about betting amuses me and leads me to believe you have a gambling problem which I'm sure Big Ernie would be happy to help you with.

The swans arent playing the lions in round five so no i cant take that bet. If you wish to offer me a bet do it in the week of the game and i will weigh up the options and win...either way.....like a wise man would. :)

What's your problem with betting in advance?

Even Beaussie's home page has a link to sportingbet.com in which they are offering bets on teams to win the Grand Final (24 weeks away!) - surely 2 1/2 weeks shouldn't be a problem for a bet when the Lions can only get "older" and "slower."

I take it your criticisms of the Lions will cease in the meantime?

No my criticisms will not cease! I've been right all along about the lions. Noone believed my prophecies last year yet they've all come true. Yes the lions will get older slower and fatter over the next 2 weeks. I dont have a problem with betting in advance when the timing is right. Why just last year i was telling beaussie to put 50 on the swans to win the premiership at odds of over 20-1, he didnt listen.

Now i'll tell you my real reasons for not taking your crumby bet this week. My feelings are almost certain the swannies will go up there and beat the lions, and as I'm never wrong i'll be putting money on them :D . The reason i am biding my time is if the swannies lose their next two matches im betting sportsbet or tab will give me much better odds than you have here.

Comprehende?

Well KE, it works both ways. If the Swans win their next two games (quite possible as they play winless Melbourne this week!) and the Lions lose at least one game (they play West Coast at Subiaco next week!) then the odds on the Swans beating the Lions will be closer to $1.30 than $2.00!

If you're prepared to back 'em in the week of the game, I guarantee you a quarter of a percent better than the best odds on offer - but remember, you may be taking much less than even money.

Not too late to back them now! :P

Maybe the Siddee Swine play like that so that the thugby leege morons can follow the game as a normal game is too fast paced & skillful for them to understand and as we all know the crowds & associated dollars are all important.
life is good. Freo forever!

I'll bide my time chumpo

:-k :?> In any case "I guarantee you a quarter of a percent better than the best odds on offer" Does this mean that you'd lower the odds if you found out sports bet had the swans as favourite? After all this talk for over a year of how the swans play a slow, negative defensive style of footy, and wont win many matches especially when they 'cant' score more than 8 goals a game? Surely if you were that sure you wouldnt need to change the odds at all.... or are you too gutless to stand by your bet for more than 2 days?

Look crocman I know your balls are bigger than mine #-o , you're lover told me, she also told me my schlong is bigger :D

If you don't take the bet by tomorrow, that's exactly what it means!!

It also means that I'm guaranteeing you the best odds on offer in Australia on the game!

You obviously dont have the "balls" or the "guts" to stand by your bet if the swans go well over the next two weeks here. Can you see the contradiction here mr croc? I've flipped you over and put you on your ass on this one :D .

Either leave the bet on until the wednesday of the week of the game or "pissoff"

And i'll be expecting you dont criticize the swans anymore unless you can do this. No courage of convictions, or balls, or guts eh? I tell ya what croc you've turned into evil growler the second, all huff and puff and no substance chumpo

No, not really. I offered you a bet with attractive odds and I put a sunset clause on it (being Friday) - what's contradictory about that?

Have you ever been to the races Mr Eliagh?

Have you ever had a bet with a bookmaker?

Do their odds remain static before the race?

Clearly the answer to all three questions is "NO" as it is clear that you have no idea how this betting 'thingy' works!!

Picure this - King Eliagh at Randwick this Saturday wanting to back the favourite:-

King E- [approaches bookmaker] "Excuse me Sir, I'd like to have my $2 on the favourite in the Sydney Cup."

Bookie - "Yes that's fine young man, $2 at 3-1."

King E - [tears welling in his eyes] "But you had 4-1 on your board not five minutes ago. I went to adjust my Y fronts and look back and you've wound it in by a point. Can I still have 4-1 or are you gutless? Ireckon my wager is going to flip you on your ass! [sic]"

Bookie - "Someone get this ***** a double sars and a lolly-pop!"

Now KE - do you have any fucking idea what you're talking about? :?:
