finals in Sydney this weekend:

32k for the NRL double header. Yes, that's right, 32k for two finals, averaging 16k each.
37k for the swans

Is this NRL heartland or AFL? :?>

:(/

2.2 Million sets of peepers in Sydney watching the 4 NRL finals this weekend just gone
& just.... 170K for the fumbles n bumbles

lets just leave that there shall we
Yet far less could be bothered attending. Whats wrong with RL fans? Isnt the game interesting enough to attend?
the game of RL?
do I need to post Sydney's biggest sporting attendances again .. including several NRL club crowds bigger then anything the fumbles & bumbles could muster this year .... or any year since 2007 ?

Xman

hello

anyone there ? 8-[

SWines 37,980

so that above crowd wasn't the 2nd smallest Finals crowd for the Swines .... EVER ... at ANZ
even with the Swines being the VFL's premiers
on a glorious balmy sat night

22,000 less then an ordinary NRL club match the week before that was played on the far less desirable crowd pulling Friday night

46,000 less then the biggest rugby league crowd at ANZ this year ?
a crowd that wouldn't make the top 15 over all crowds in Sydney this year & smaller then the biggest crowds of every other football code :-k

is all of this accurate dickhead ?

yes

yes it is

ouch
Yet almost double the NRLs finals average in Sydney on that weekend. :)))

:(/ :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<>
based on that ****** analogy

the Swines finals crowd was about half the average for Origin this year :(/ :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<>
I'm fine with that. The swans are an expansion team in an expansion state. As if they would ever beat a rep game in its own heartland. The fact they smash heartland club games is the relevant comparison, and boy does it burn you :\:

The AFL ruled Sydney last weekend, also it was the back page of the Daily Telegraph today.

Leave it at what? This isnt a comparison of this years biggest crowds. Its a comparison of last weekend, and the swans owned the NRL in its own backyard.

23k for two Sydney teams in week 2 of the finals. Tickets were heavily discounted too.

That is an absolute disgrace! But also so so funny! :(/

Just ticked over to the nrl game during the second half, more players on the field, then the crowd itself

Why are you trying to bring TV ratings into a crowd threat? Fact is, AFL dominated Sydney sports crowds last week. That's gotta hurt

19k...... :(/

So two NRL semi finals gave us a huge 42k with one being a heavily discounted local derby. The AFL had 89k last week with no local derbies.

Meanwhile 43k watched the dockers tonight, the second biggest dockers crowd at subiaco ever. That's a total of 128k for the round.
