- Crowd increase of 5.6%
NRL (Crowd averages after 6 rounds)
2013 – 18,389
2012 – 17,419

So an adult walked up to the cashier booth and bought a childrens ticket for $2.50? Oh Dave, it must be so difficult living with whatever mental condition(s) you have.

Port Adelaide set to surpass their membership record set way back in 1998, probably sometime next week.

You fucking idiot you do realise that once a ticket is scanned, the type of ticket appears on the other side of the scanner so authorities can catch out scams like that? FMD this one was dropped as a baby.

Could'nt agree more, RL is no where near dead in Oz or overseas as some one eyed people like to say. Im hearing that the RL World Cup opener at Millenium Stadium in Wales (Capacity: 74,500) and the final Old Trafford in Manchester (Capacity: 75,765) are almost sold out!! & lets not forget the sold out test in Canberra tonight somewhere near 26,000. Exciting times ahead for Rugby League and the NRL. Even an AFL fan would have to admit RL is growing.

It's a low base line though Dave ... It sort of had to grow don't you think . Percentages look good but actual numbers arent massive . Ratings are good though so that's a good sign I guess... But just gives pay tv ?

I think if you put the Anzac game in Perth or Melbourne would have for similar crowd due to the one off nature seasonally for the event and bring in a location that doesn't normally have this game . Rl growing , well it needs to to be sure. How much it is growing is the question ... Raising a 10000 crowd average to 11000 isn't that much but 10 percent looks good ... Just an example .
