After 9 rounds last year the NRL averaged 17143, then of course the arse falls out of crowds during origin. However, after the first 9 rounds this year the NRL average only 15604, with origin still to come! Care to explain how this translates to a code on the move? Did you mean moving backwards??

Meanwhile the AFL are up in crowds compared to the same time last year, which just happened to be their second year of crowd growth in a row.

actually, you lying *****, the NRL after 9 rounds averaged 17,511 in 2013, and 17143 in 2014. So it was only down by about 2%. This year its a dismal 15604.75, almost 1,900 a game down on 2013.
