Nice retort lol I'm supporting the nrl giving away tickets as well as the AFL in New Zealand ????? I actually think the nrl need to do it more, not just in expansion areas but in Sydney to improve crowds

giving away tickets is usually the only way your bumbling crap sport can get bums on seats anywhere on this planet
except the ***** sthn states of this country
& even they don't get charged much :-k

meanwhile

RL will have about 160,000 people attend games at Wembley & Old Trafford in the next few weeks
next Feb over 2 days 60,000 to 80,000 will attend a mickey mouse RL 9's tournament in Auckland

3 more sellouts will attend SOO in 2014
60,000 tipped for the opening game of the NRL next Year .. Souths V the Roosters Thursday March 6th ANZ stadium & over 200,000 predicted for the first round

RL havin problems with crowds :?>

how are your TV ratings or crowds? non existent mate

we're getting 60k-70k to wembley and then a 75k sellout to Old Trafford. not to mention the numerous 30k+ RL events in NZ and perpetual sellouts in PNG. although capacity is a lot lower their, ~20k IIRC.

and not to mention 7k to a best of 3 game between canada and usa.

Big whoop! 69 countries, Fyiar, beats your 50! And outside Australia we don't need crowds because everyone wants to PLAY THE GAME!!

The game will grow, the best will rise, the ones who can't quite make it will start watching and the crowds will go up as a result. That's how it all works.

See what I mean psy ... In Dave's world rl gets better crowds than AFL ??? How do you argue with that logic ... Does anyone else think nrl has better crowds than AFL ?

And since when is wa a southern state ? Also Gold Coast is hardly southern yet gets near on same crowd as titans

AFL is not an international sport ... Rl is.. Simple as that? That's not a put down of AFL just an observation. It is by far the mist popular sport on the country as nfl is in the U.s . Not sure why there is a push to make it international ???

No, Dave, you just wish that was the case just to make yourself feel better.

You know I'm starting to think like Swans. The only way to get through to you is to get you in the ring and beat your head in so far you'll be eating through your arse.
