its errrrr.... 1.097 Billion at this stage
AFL attendances 15 years ago were 3 times the NRL's
in 2012
less then double
gee .... who's growing then

Theres a ceiling for everything, including population and stadium sizes. The NRL won't grow once they fill their little stadiums.
yep
AFL's has hit theirs ... it will go back to about 30K & stay there
the NRL is moving more n more games in Sydney to its bigger venues
this on top of continued massive growth in memberships .. plus upgraded venues like Ausgrid & new venues like Skilled Park & the new venue in Nth Qld will see our crowds continue to rise .... they'll break the 20K barrier in the next 5 years or so
great times ahead.

Did you miss the part where the AFLs memberships are up 8% so far this year. Add to that record tv coverage. 9 games per round. Adelaide and Perth to have stadium improvements.

Swans are down less than 3%, suns down less than 10%, lions up according to the HS by quite a way. GWS is their first season.
The rest of the AFL is up massively. Huge financial boost to all teams. Plus with the increase from the new TV rights which starts this year.
Wow!!
