Pookus Xman and TLPG are deadset the biggest trio of pansy wimpo footy supporters one could come across.

Its clear all three of you have never had a cheap shot against you whilst playing a contact sport. You just dont understand whats it like in the heat of battle in a sport which by its nature is violent. Natural instincts will often take over a lot of guys and they shouldnt be blamed if they belt a guy who is in the process of dislocating a teammates shoulder.

btw, were any of you three daffodils watching the intro to the essendon hawthorne match tonight? Seems like the AFL and channel seven thought the best way to intro and promo this game was to highlight all the fisticuffs and bad blood between these two sides over the last 30 years! It was glorious to watch and I was quite happy to see that all the fans and the commentators clearly love a bit of fair dinkum biffo. I guess you three daffodils are in the minority eh? And nice to see channel 7 and the AFL clearly think its great promotion of their game. Just a pity the AFL contradicts this in its ruling against what it clearly views as an exciting element of the game... :?

Xman im sure if you werent at the game you woulda seen it, seeing it was your team and all ? If not i'll try and hook up the footage for you as soon as it comes online

One of thise fights was coming up to 30 yrs ago. The other was nearly 10 years ago. Few punches were thrown. Those that were resulted in substantial suspensions. No doubt they would have been applauded if in the NRL.

about 30 years ago the AFL went down the path of removing all the Biffo from the game. A lot of people didn't like it and still to this day are upset, however in my opinion they did the right thing. If a sport is good enough it doesn't need biffo as a way to promote it. AFL has changed a lot since those days and I believe for the better.

You're missing the point as usual. Those fights they showed were decades ago. They're extinct now.

No the majority of them weren't decades ago Xman and you know it. The AFL and channel 7 love the biff, just like the rest of us, apart from 3 poor lil daffodils with weak stomachs

I support essendon fool, so i should know. There were 2 fights shown. On was the 1985 GF. The other was the "line in the sand" match which was 2004.

If ch7 and the AFL loved the biff they would allow fighting, but we know they don't. In fact the AFL fine melees, let alone full on fights

Stop talking out your arse!

So 2004 is decades ago is it? Did you say I was the one talking out of my ass?

Yes thankyou for pointing out the AFL rule against biffo. What a confused organisation. I mean they were glorifying the biff on their promo on Friday night. Deadset glorifying it. It was quite a beautiful promo...did you need to rush to the toilet after viewing it Xman?

The AFL - Glorifying biffo whilst ruling against it [-X You cant have it both ways [-X [-X

But we all now know what the honchos down at AFL HQ and channel 7 really think about the biffo.

Poor Xman, his own code and essentially his own team have highlighted what a confused buffoon he really is.

Synchronised swimming starts next week at the olympics Xman.

You are a barefaced lying violent terrorist, KE. They were not glorifying violence on Friday night. They were acknowledging history and were showing how things have improved!

Clearly you are against improvement.

Yes we'll go and watch the synchro swimming while you go an watch the boxing! :-({|=

Well given there were two fights only which averaged 18years ago I thought the term decades was appropriate.

Ch7 promoted the rivalry and demonstrated those fights to show the rivalry had a long history and was passionate. It had nothing to do with ch7 promoting fighting in the AFL. it definately had nothing to do with the AFL promoting fighting or even using it to promote the game.

How stupid are you thinking for thinking ch7 promotions represent the AFL policy and opinion?
