& anyway
RL's rep games are played by NRL players .....& just the same way your sport is being called VFL by all n sundry
ours is also going down that path & being called NRL by everyone
games involving VFL players were watched by 123 Million people on TV in Australia last year
games involving NRL players were watched by 134 Million people on TV in Australia last year

Wrong. The AFL was 123M without the preseason cup or state comps. Not to mention this 123m is for 27hrs viewing a week, not 16hrs like the nRL

the KNOB cup was included you **** half wit
& feel free to add the vicky kicky state cups that hardly no one watches
we'll add the Holden cup to ours .... 45K a game X 78 games & 500K watching its GF
NSW & QLD state cups
the ESL ....
& our lead pushes out to about 15 Million
Not to mention this 123m is for 27hrs viewing a week, not 16hrs like the nRL
oh
so this would of meant you could sell a lot more advertising to merchants during broadcasts then the NRL could
meaning your coverage would be worth a lot more then ours ...... right ?
this is just piss funny

I think if you had a list of Key Performance Indicators for the year you would tick off membership. On feild success ticked of from last year. Tv ratings ... I think maintaining them at last years levels would be a short term goal ( not sure if they did this) but a 5 year kpi would be to increase them to maybe 100 000 for 90 percent by end if current broadcast deal. Work needed there . Crowds ? Well what would be reasonable ... Given the average over past 16 years is 30000 roughly it would need to be higher than that and coming off a premiership you would be aiming at maybe 35000 .. However redevelopment of scg and having to play gws twice you would tweak this down to maintaining last years ... Although if on ground success remains I think 33 is Reasonable ... Although I haven't looked at draw to be honest .

Don't need to. The article showed the AFL won the ratings for the year. It didn't specify whether comps outside the regular season like SOO or preseason cup were included.

Hopefully the derby is packed this weekend. Imagine what it will be like next year at the new upgraded Adelaide oval.

Bit of rain forecast so that will keep some away unfortunately. A Sunday twilight timeslot doesn't help either, but I'm hopeful of 40k.
