70k the next year if they make the top 4.Xman wrote:Richmond over 50k. God help us if they ever make the finals!
I remember going to bomber v tiger games in the early eighties when they were still riding high from their 1980 GF. Their crowds were unbelievably huge, easily the match of Collingwood and Essendon. However theyre fans are even more passionate if thats possible.Stewie wrote:70k the next year if they make the top 4.Xman wrote:Richmond over 50k. God help us if they ever make the finals!
Dreamtime at the 'G last year, amazing game. You could just tell how passionate and loud the Tigers fans were through the TV. I can only imagine what it would it would have been like at the game!Xman wrote:I remember going to bomber v tiger games in the early eighties when they were still riding high from their 1980 GF. i doubt they will reach 70k. its interesting how teams magically have a huge a surge in membership, you wonder where they come from, but lets see how it reflects their crowd figures.Xman wrote:Stewie wrote:70k the next year if they make the top 4.Xman wrote:Richmond over 50k. You're underestimating how big Richmond is. The shit they have had to put up with in the last 30 years, yet still have over 50,000 members is quite amazing. Essendon would easily have over 50k members if Etihad wasn't holding them back. Unfortunately for them, they're stuck there for another 12 years unless the AFL buys the stadium in the next couple of years.adamj1300 wrote:i doubt they will reach 70k. its interesting how teams magically have a huge a surge in membership, you wonder where they come from, but lets see how it reflects their crowd figures.Xman wrote:Stewie wrote:70k the next year if they make the top 4.

after winning the tital then taking on the world and winning, it looks like the storm may struggle to beat last year's membership total.morley101 wrote:Brisbane – 24,398 (26,216)
