ummm How can League be more popular when Union was out decades before league...
Once League was introduced into Australia it begun to quickly over take Union.

AFL had a 50 year head start on Rugby league and still cannot get anywhere across the Murray.

Why is league only remotely popular anywhere in the world where union is?

Think you should have checked your facts too parra, both Jamaica and Serbia played rugby long before they played league, in fact Serbia union team played their first international in 1818, Serbia’s first rugby league international was in in 2003, Jamaica’s union team first game was in 1960, Jamaican rugby league first played in 2010. Lebanon was the only country you listed that played league before union which was only by 5 years. So to say Lebanon, Serbia and Jamaica “have ever played union” is factually incorrect. In terms of which sport is popular it’s hard to workout because no both a very niche sports in those country. In terms of participation rugby comes out on top
