agree, Showing the game live at 4.50pm on a secondary digital channel is a stupid decision. Better showing it on delay at 7 or 7.30 pm on ch7

the biggest change is due to around a 50% increase in live FTA games due to Thursday night games

Yeah god forbid you have two fta games on at the same time and switch them over to replay them later at night eh, who would ever have gone down that stupid route?

Fox exclusive NRL games up +29%
Including simulcast games up +20%
All live on FTA is one change long overdue that has improved ratings but Fox ratings going through the roof and simulcasting games cannot be ignored.
They are all equally important changes that have contributed to the massive increase in ratings.
Overall during the first four rounds this year, Fox’s viewing numbers are up 26 per cent in the same timeslots they broadcast last year, with 2015’s national averages of 200,00-250,000 viewers now tending to push beyond 300,000 viewers.
Fox Sports said national audiences for its exclusive matches currently average 264,000 viewers, which is up 29 per cent on the same time last year, and including simulcast games, its average live audience is up 20 per cent to 245,000 viewers.

The numbers they've quoted seem a bit off to be honest. They claim
2015’s national averages of 200,00-250,000 viewers now tending to push beyond 300,000 viewers yet I dont see that from the numbers we've seen
Bear one huge change in mind too: National subscription rates will have increased for foxtel now they are showing every game

So you're saying the Easter weekend coming earlier this year has has nothing to do with your average ratings being higher after 4 rounds? As I said, let's compare the ratings after this round.
I already explained Easter, I said all sports suffer because people are getting the last blast of decent weather in before it gets cold, the kids are just about heading back to school. The show and weather combined makes all sports struggle more than usual around this time, in Canberra a heap of the population head to the coast for the long weekend, that's why I can't understand why the Raiders always have a home game at Easter, it just doesn't make sense.

And what I was talking about earlier for the morons that can't comprehend shit, the reason the ratings are so far up is because like the AFL now, we have no fucking delayed games anymore, get it, Friday 2 games has gone where one was replayed late at night and got fuck all ratings, got it yet smartarses?
