god fuck me
wot a hammering
how can the VFL not outrate the NRL when they have 2 forms of coverage to the NRL's 1
& those VFL ratings in Sydney & Brisbane are laughable
hilarious

:_<> :_<>
it is astounding how little these 2 cities care about the so called .... Australian game ...
& its also encouraging for the NRL that even without the Storm & up against the VFL coverage
they are developing a nice little niche viewership in Melbourne each Friday ...
something that's occurred on the secondary channel & after just 3 years of regular broadcasts
& something the VFL has failed to achieve after 30 years in Sydney & Brisbane

The ratings for fumbleball are not inspiring with a new tv deal coming up .
The new teams were supposed to be worth the big increase last time .
They don't seem to be getting big numbers ,& ratings seem to have stalled for all teams .
Will be interesting .

Sat TV #AFL Arvo Seven 344k (Mel 144k Ade 164k Per 37k) 7mate 62k (Syd 47k Bri 15k)
Sat TV #AFL Night Seven 389k (Mel 240k Ade 149k) 7mate 100k (Syd 19k Bri 22k Per 59k)
Below average FTA numbers.
Look at the Sydney derby 47k lol
Normal NRL games this year have got larger tv ratings in Melbourne and without the Storm playing.
