The most important liability - the debt - is covered for with much left over as indicated. You are **** and you can't deny it. I shall ignore the second paragraph as it is off topic.

Again, completely ignoring the $43 million in revenue. I would hardly call revenue that covers for the debt and the interest comfortably terminal.

You are **** because you are interpreting those reports to suit your own incorrect viewpoint. You call on me to provide supporting evidence when in fact you've already seen it and ignored it. I can't help it if you are so determined to see the Lions go belly up. Are you a Suns supporter by any chance? Or an old Bears supporter who didn't like it when the move was made from the Gold Coast to Brisbane? Or maybe an old Fitzroy supporter?

Face the facts. I have never denied the Lions were in any form of trouble. To say otherwise would be foolish. But to call them a "basketcase" would be overstating the problem.

Ok you got me .
You have to be a troll .
No one is this stupid.
If you are not a troll you are clearly brain damaged.
All the evidence backs up what Wookie says.
He is not interpreting things to suit himself. He is just reposting what .The League ,The club itself & the Auditor have said. You are taking what officials say & twist it to say its meaningless because its Wookie's version of what is going on.
How can you be so fucking blindly loyal to the AFL that you cannot see what a basketcase this club is.
Try living in the real world..

& if you are trolling ..well done.

I would expect a response like this from a rugby league fan who hates Aussie Rules with such passion. You are only agreeing with The Wookie just to side against me for sake of siding against me. It is The Wookie who is twisting the meaning of the reports, because none of them identify the Lions as a "basketcase". They identify issues that the club needs to rectify, and can rectify without to much difficulty.

I am yet to see any proof that the situation with the Lions is unsalvageable.

Why Brisbane Lions are the basketcases of the new season

Thankfully the AFL no longer seems to share a world view with Tony Abbott, and as such will seek to assist Brisbane's revival rather than eliminate its basket case. But for now, with their side nailed to the foot of the ladder, that is cold comfort for the old ''Roy Boys''.

Not so long ago Melbourne was the basket case of the competition, and maybe its plight, along with the Essendon ASADA dramas, have shielded the Lions from further public scrutiny, but they are a deserved laughing stock at the minute.

There’s been plenty of comments made about our group, saying we’re a basket case, but I don’t think we’re that far away. We’re going to get in their face and really pressure them up.

So you can find article after article on why they are a BASKETCASE ,yet in your warped reality ,everyone else is wrong & you are right.

Your braindead opinions have gone from laughable to hysterical.
All in the name of defending your beloved sport.

There are none so blind as those that cant see.

Find the term "basketcase" in the official documents that The Wookie has been preaching. Media opinion does not count. They are **** also just to chase a good story. You've never heard of sensationalisation?

Many clubs have asked for a bail out in certain conditions within certain frames. This is not unusual, nor is it proof that they were a basketcase when they asked. All clubs have an AFL guarantee (every club gets a share of the AFL's revenue from TV rights for example) and that is what the Lions report was referring to. Media opinion counts for nothing when it is being written for a headline. Again for clarity, if the Lions were a genuine basketcase where are the receivers? Yes it does have to be unsalvageable to be a basketcase, and you are interpreting the Oxford definition in your own way to suit the situation when it doesn't fit. The "evidence" does not support what you say (that the Lions are a basketcase) and that is a fact. The "evidence" says that they are in trouble and that is as far as it goes. Everything else beyond that is propoganda.
