They can nominate what state they wish to represent, it's not frigging hard, you ask each individual.

Take it easy on them..
Anything other than a domestic comp is confusing to derpballers..
Maybe if RL rep teams stood on a stage under a Sausage roll sign then that might help.
Then again to actually play rep games in your chosen sport is a foreign concept,to derpers.

So let's get this straight - they can play for ANY team they like as long as it's NSW or QLD???? So state of origin means.........just the same as RLWC - a farce - there is no such thing as SOO then - if your Vic born and breed then forget representing your state you'll have to play for one of two sides that contributed NOTHING to your development - you have to bring passion for a state that is NOT your state - it's a joke and you know it!!!!! Another farcical situation - well that does me from now on I won't tune in because it's all fake!

!
so
the same as derpball & every other state in the commonwealth is the same
oh
& add your country to that list of things you can't represent as well
why would any young lad south of the murray choose to play the planets tiniest sport ?
almost every other sporting pursuit in Australia there is offers a chance to achieve the highest honour there is
Representing your nation =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>
except.............. this Victorian abortion
its simply embarrassing that this bumbling joke is the only sport in Australia that cannot provide this great honour to its players

The AFL can offer state representation to its fans and players, but choose not to because a handful of rep games should never take away from the national competition. Otherwise you risk the national comp being the second choice for fans, which is a disaster

And at least it's not a contrived competition - how embarrassing that a so called NATIONAL sport is made up of two states!

How they take away what, the games are played months before the finals and if your team misses out because of some rep game, back fucking luck, every team has had to put up with that before and the game continues.
Derp!
You can go on and on and on about it, it doesn't mean shit, you people just don't understand Rugby League. It's ok, it's different to your set up.
It's also bigger than your set up.

The rampant foaming & frothing hasn't let up since the RLWC.
It has just gone up a few gears with SOO approaching.
When you have One thing & One thing only(a domestic comp),then its easy to get jealous of a sport with many levels.
Keep it up fumblers..its very entertaining.

Because many fans prefer SOO and are indifferent to the NRL.

I love SoO time - but do get annoyed it impacts on my team - storm - when we lose players for something I have no vested interest as to who wins. Why does my team suffer?? But I do get the importance of SoO but just play it before the season or after the season - it could be played ion the moon on NYE and still rate its socks off. Why have it mid season when it totally screws with the NRL season proper?

And while were at it how about they play for their STATE OF ORIGIN - you know like the series suggests - instead of I was born in NZ, lived in Melb and choose to represent QLD, a farce if EVER there was!

Really? Didnt realise any of the SOO games had crowds bigger than 100k. In fact a number of home and away AFL games outdraw SOO.
Apparently there are still 5k tickets on sale for SOO 1
