what do you mean 'can't get 100k like RU, soccer etc?' If you mean in a single game, then yea no ground in europe has 100k capacity. One is 99k, but it's spain or something. And same in Australia, only the MCG i think which is obviously not a RL ground.

Not getting a little upset that this RLWC has captured the attention of NO ONE outside NSW/QLD in Australia - that it's a contrived event with a manipulated selection? Not getting a bit peeved that they won't get anywhere near half that number in 2017? Still can't get 100k like AF, soccer, RU - the way they have manipulated selection and created teams from countries wouldn't past them that the crowds are a creation since MOST grounds that play at only hold 10k!
Funny you should say that, the two England RLWC games so far have topped the ratings in the UK on the BBC, the Union game got 800,000 watching England vs Australia while 2.12 million watched England play Ireland in the Rugby League.

Just because we can watch,cheer & take pride in our national rl team playing in a wc ,doesn't mean you should be jealous & getting all upset.
tell me do we begrudge the all Victorian 4 & 20 pie team standing under the 4 & 20 sausage roll sign on stage..
no we don't get jealous .we just laugh .
But you boys stamp your feet a bit more,wont change anything ,but might make you feel better.

I woudnt know havent seen a 4 and 20 sign at the footy - but I guess small things amuse small minds! Is that why you follow RL because it is one of the most simple games on the planet? Like I gave up handball when I was 8! You RL bum sniffers really cant understand why 4 states in Australia couldnt give a fat rats! It must really burn you up inside knowing your not the number one code in Australia because your trying real hard to tell us were missing out! Pitty it would only annoy us if we cared but we dont!

i'd rather only have 2 states and a territory in australia but have other countries as well.
not like you, couple of states in the entire world. no one outside of those states in the WORLD gives a shit about your shithouse sport mate. deal with it.
i'm fine with RL only dominating a couple of states and having less presence than AFL in others so don't retort with that and then say 'deal with it'

Excuse me, Fyiar, all all six states and both territories give a shit about AFL and so do MULTIPLE countries! So we are KILLING you on all the dot points and you just don't have the balls to admit it! So what if you have a couple of strong countries in rugby league? If you would just let all of the countries into your WC (toilet) then you'd be making big inroads into other countries that WE HAVE ALREADY DONE!!
If you're fine with dominating just two states, then you'll be fine with AFL swallowing you up inside a generation. You deal with THAT!

he's such a joker, like i said. most of the reason i come on here is to laugh at the drivel that comes out of his mouth.
didn't you say 1000 was a good crowd in the states NRLC? HAHAHA geee, must be depressing to set such low targets and then fail to meet them. that 1000 record was set about 10 years ago. Just THIS year we pulled 7.3k for USA vs Canada (best of 3 i think) the other 2 games pulled around 9-10k between them, one was in pouring conditions, the 7k was on a sunny day.
