Vfl is leading 20XIII already.

Doesn't take long for the feral flogtards from down South to disgrace themselves these days huh?

And they're the stories the Vfl allow to be put into print, imagine if the press were allowed a Vfl Free for all?

More tinfoil hat stuff from Parra. The NRL are the code with secrets: no annual reports, no drug policy details or results.... #-o

Carlton's fresh bid to have Chris Judd's third-party deal with Visy returned to outside of the AFL salary cap has failed.

A meeting between AFL deputy chief executive Gil McLachlan, league executive Andrew Dillon, Blues chief executive Greg Swann and Judd's manager Paul Connors took place this week.

The Blues and Judd's management were seeking a compromise, but it is understood the AFL was not prepared to overturn its decision to include all of Judd's Visy payments - understood to be $200,000 per season - from the club's salary cap.

An AFL spokesman confirmed the meeting had taken place, but would not reveal details, saying there "would not be a running commentary" on the issue.

Carlton would not comment on the meeting with the AFL, but are said to be "satisfied" with some aspects of the outcome and the hearing they received.

The Blues have decided not to take the matter further, dropping a plan to take it to a formal AFL grievances hearing.

Great, now the Blues will win a premiership to overcome the past injustices and if the AFL wants to review salary caps, perhaps they should check out the Magpie Lexus Centre and the Sydney Swans Salary Cap Locality Bonus!

FORMER Hawthorn president Jeff Kennett says the AFL must change its illicit drugs policy to avoid a tragedy.

Labelling the system "grossly unfair", the beyondblue chairman said the three-strikes policy was flawed and clubs should be informed earlier.

"I don't believe the three-strike rule is appropriate, nor do I think it is fair to the players, or to their families or to their clubs," Kennett said yesterday.

"I hope that if (AFL boss) Andrew (Demetriou) is serious, just as initially they wouldn't move on concussion, they will recognise that if they are serious about drugs, then they have got to involve the clubs earlier than currently occurs.

"Three strikes and you're out - that is grossly unfair and it could lead to a situation where maybe you end up with a death."
