I said what CROWDS stewie, crowds means more than one, and your first statement about this suggested Penrith were getting more lower crowds than what the WSW are already, you put in one crowd, so where are the rest that you hinted at?

Go back to my original quote and you'll see that I never said "this season". Last year Penrif recorded a crowd of 5k just as they did again this year and probably next season and so on.

But but but, you are comparing the WSW to PDRLFC, WSW are in their first season, so why not compare their first season to the one that PDRLFC just finished?

Ok then. Penrith have the lowest crowd of them both
WSW > Penrif

Seasons not over yet, so don't say too much before the season is over, it could and will come back to bite you.

I love that you used hypothetical crowds you just made up as though they were valid points to make in an argument. You're like the kid in the Matrix that can bend his own reality.
There is no spoon Dave.

I don't really care if WSW fail and get lower than Penrith. Both teams crowds are pathetic in so called soccer and rl "heartlands".

I was going to compare Penrith's inaugural crowd average with WSW's, but imagined Dave's inevitable, barely legible response and thought better of it:
"1967......isn't.....apples and apples...with 2012 is it....D head. End of

"
But looking at Penrith's crowd averages raised an interesting notion. In 1967 Penrith averaged 7,505. In 2012 they had increased that average up to 10,858; a whopping increase of 3,353 over 45 years. That's a rate of 74 people per year. At this current rate, Penrith will reach an average of 20,000 fans in a mere 123 years.
While the above is very much tongue in cheek, I do have a genuine question for those in the know. As far as i'm aware Penrith is a large area, with a massive number of kids playing Rugby League. How have they failed to generate a large following over the past 45 years? Their biggest crowd average is just 17.7k in a premiership year.

made up
no ... quite accurate d head
its based on relative popularity in certain conditions
the wanderers game was played in very good .. dry mild conditions
the panthers game .. in awful conditions
one has to hypothosise to put the wanderers & midgets in similarly poor conditions to those that the panthers played in
or
alternatively .. put penrith & the midgets in the good conditions the wanderers played in
Penrith
12,500
Wanderers
6755
Midgets
4500
and we still have the wanderers >>>>>>>>>>>>> all ova the midgets

and they averaged 18,000 in 2003 & 2004 ... so F'ing what
7,505 will be enough to cover the midgets .... for the next 40 years ( rampant fudging of crowds disregarded of course

)

Parramatta Eels, Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs and these days Wests Tigers were Penriths biggest problems for years, these days they need to play some winning footy.

I'm curious, what do you think the term 'made up' means?
