I can't tell if this is sarcasm? Is this sarcasm? Because logically speaking if you average only 12k in a 30k seat stadium, the problem isn't limited capacity....

sorta like when the capacity is 32,000 & the average is 22,000 eh ?

so all we need is a few cranes & hard hats & our excuse is acceptable then ...

let me explain this to you in terms you might be able to fathom:

:D :D :D Swans members that sat in.......renovated stands......have been relocated into GA areas :o :o :o ......this had reduced the number of GA tickets available......and increased the impact of member no-shows :( :( :( :(

AAMI park has.......no such problem :D :D Members sit in their seats, GA tickets are plentiful. No need for a bigger capacity wacity ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

The proof woofie will be in the.......pudding wudding..... =D> =D> =D> when the new stand's built and capacity is back up to 48,000 the vicky kicky swannie wannies.....will.....be....averaging more than 22,000  ](*,) :-k [-( 8-[ [-o< :| =D> #-o =P~ :^o [-X  :?: :!:       :D :) :) :o :? :x :P

the Swines average plummeted 4K from 2010 to 2011... no rennos then ..same GA availability both years
but down it went despite both years in the finals .. as it did the previous 3 years 8-[
flogballers can't explain this though ..... strange :-k

hmmmmm
did those sides have consistent drops since 2007 ...

did any of them make the finals 4 out of those 5 years ... & still have a 15% drop in crowds in the 5th year

I'd say
no.. no they didn't

Yes it is and I'll tell you why! The stadium's foundations were built for 50,000. League hater Doyle decided to order it cut to 20,000 and it only went to 30,000 because of the Victory! All that led to a $hit job with the venue driving many fans away. It even affected Victory crowds to the point that THEY go to Etihad for the big games!

What? I went to it last summer to watch the Victory play the Reds, it's a fantastic stadium. Was only half full, but the noise was great. Had the game been played at Docklands the atmosphere would have been terrible. It wasn't a sellout, tickets were available, if more people wanted to go to that game they could have.

they rose in 2010, dropped in 2011 due to a wet season, and 2012 due to renovations. Theyll rise again once the renovations are over.
