round 2 the AFL one sided games & smashings begin

Oh i've given a very clear firm definition including exactly how many games each side will win for the first half of the season.

As ive said winning one game in a full half of the season is not my definition of competitive in any competion, nor would it be for any other sports fan or expert.

If you're not willing to bet these teams cant win more than 1 misely game against an opponent in the top (cough) 14 for the entire 1st half of the season then you really dont think much of GC Melb Brissy and GWS now do you Xman?

I just checked the lions schedule. They don't play a team other than collingwood, WC, Geelong, suns, giants or Melbourne until round 16!

No that's not the bet. As i said the sun shines out skunks asses every now and then. Uncompetitive is the current state of affairs with all four of these teams copping hidings to nothing and none of them winning 1 match other than against another basketcase. I've been stating uncompetitive as 'they belong in a lower division' all along. And you dont agree with me. Now belonging in a lower division to me is nicely reflected in the bet i offered. That by mid season, if it wasnt for their games against eachother, each of the basketcases would have no more than 1 win to their names. So far they all have none, I'm looking the goods. :D

Those basketcases must sure be happy there's 3 others just like em in the comp. Otherwise they'd stick out like dogs balls and probably be pushed out of the comp quickly. In numbers comes some safety but unfortunately there's a flip side. The quality of the comp is poor now, too many teams and the skilled players are not spread evenly. I bet Demetriou is by his bed each night [-o< [-o< [-o< for things to change because the state of things now are...woeful. The worst state of competition i've ever seen in any professional sporting comp.

So this doesn't apply to the NRLs bottom teams?

Wrong again XMAN , the NRL has been a very close comp for the last few years and is getting even closer. Here is a couple of facts for you:

Penrith are coming 3rd last and got beaten by the sharks (who are 3rd) in extra time 2 weeks ago, I think they will be the wooden spooners this year, but are still being competitive.

The Titan's are coming second last and have had two wins this year. The first was a 18-0 win against the Cowboys who are coming 4th and the second against manly at brookvale were very few sides win.

Parramatta are coming last and were beaten by one try today against Cronulla who are 3rd and two weeks ago had there first win against Manly who are 8th.

There are two wins between 2nd last and 4th place. If your comp is even close to that after 7 rounds come and speak to me. Whats different is the the floggings and one sided competition will continue within AFL.

Note your excuse for GC and GWS don't fly, the first few year GC Titans were in the comp they were competitive.

Whilst reading over the terms you proposed for the loser, and therefore having not agreed to the terms of the bet as yet, I decided to check the lions schedule. Low and behold they are not due to play a home game against a team expected to finish in the 4-14 range until round 17!
