If you want a laugh, flick over to foxtel and have a look at the crowd at the Titans game! Even if they count the officials, players and ground staff (like they usually do) there wont be any more than 6k there today!

What's the excuse? The conditions are perfect. They won last week too didn't they? But really, with so few members and NRL fans refusing to travel this is to be expected I suppose. Poor titans, how much will they be losing on this game?

So far this season the NRL crowds have been Very underwhelming. Even last nights Broncos game was the lowest crowd between the Broncos and Cowboys for 8yrs or so.

Looks like they did count the support staff, players and ground staff because they've claimed a crowd of 11k for the Titans on a perfect day the sun is looking down on them in more way than one.

Couldn't be near as bad as the Titan fudgers! Add the sharks, penrith and the raiders to that group too. Shameful!

What I love is all these comparisons are about NRL teams in there own heartland vs AFL expansion teams.

Why is it we never compare NRL expansion teams to AFL heartland clubs?

NRL are on the defensive so bad it isn't funny. Every day there is a new "code wars" article released by the NSW/QLD media. If it is a war the NRL are taking massive damage and inflicting none of their own on their enemy. They're flat out trying to save their own heartland, and the panic is palpable.
