there were plenty at Parramatta on Friday
& at Brookvale on Sunday
& they'll be plenty at Penrith this Sat
& at Newcastle on Sunday
thousands in fact ... & their parents there with em
being shown a sport at the elite level that they play now
that they will watch when older
that they will get their kids to play when they have them .. then these kids will watch ... & their kids will play etc etc
its a circle of life
an unbreakable cycle .. its why our game is not beatable up this way
& why we'll always prevail
got a white flag ?
start waving it

Keep dreaming sunshine. With all the problems News Ltd are in atm, there is no way they (through Foxtel) will be paying overs as you expect for the NRL. They have more pressing concerns like massive compensation payouts and their company share price going down each and every day a new scandal is exposed.

LOL
then Foxtel lose the NRL rights .. or get the scraps at best
& 50% of their subscriptions drop out in NSW & QLD ... then they go broke
then they can't pay the AFL for their rights
I like
I like a lot

Actually AFFP, I think it'll be a maximum of 5 percent.
Quick point. When the new deal begins in 2012 for the AFL, it will be getting it's own channel back as it had before the last deal locked Foxtel out.
Where's the NRL's own channel, huh?

the last dedicated AFL channel was canned
cos no one watched it
oh , & we'll be getting ours in the next deal too
& it will be the most watched foxtel channel by the stretch of the straight at randwick

No it was canned because Foxtel lost the rights.

No
it was canned because their was no justification for a channel that didn't rate
