Yep, main channel & vs no competition. Previous week did about 50k against two qld nrl teams. Wallabies & Socceroos can break 100k in Sydney.

AFL Round 11 rated 4.239m viewers across the previous weekend, for a season estimated total of more than 53m viewers at an average of just over 540,000 per game.

NRL Round 12 had a total viewership of around 4.9m for the weekend, taking the seasons aggregate total to more than 60 million at an average match viewership of more than 630,000 per game.

The AFL has had 12 matches achieve 7 figure viewer ships in 2022. The NRL 14.

I’m thinking with the high uptake of foxtel in both areas most viewers would be on that format. Also, no local team playing ? I didn’t even watch it. I would be more interested when Sydney and Brisbane okay to see what the figures are. What do you think an nrl game in Adelaide would rate?

What do you think an nrl game in Adelaide would rate?

Last nights NRL game attracted a FTA tv audience of 8,000 in Melbourne, 6,000 in Adelaide and 10,000 in Perth, out of how many potential viewers of those capital city populations I hear you say? Hmm, with such dismal tv ratings for the NRL, what is the point of the Melbourne Storm or State of Origin games in Adelaide or Perth one could ask… using logic presented in above postings.
