Its an absolute crowds meltdown on LU and you can't blame them after 4 games haven't even totalled a dismal 30k

90mm of rain having fallen since Friday lunchtime...
terrific turnouts considering there is barely any cover at the 2 venues where the games were played last night

Raiderdave that photo was before the start of the game. There was a huge line up outside for tickets that went well after the game had started.
I thought there would have been more than 13k to be honest. But hey attack the AFLs crowds to try and justify your poor crowds.

Yeah that line was amazingly high ... I got there just before start of play and luckily only had to renew my membership so short line for that.... I don't think many at the end of that line would have got in prior to quarter time. I think for tv the problem is that all the seats on the wing are gold reserve ... So people don't buy these as much . May be why it looks worse on tv .

I would suggest we just ignore Dave until he starts putting decent arguements forward ! I mean really, the swans could be getting 80000 crowds every week ands million people on ratings and he would still say no one likes them !!! So let's just ignore him and giving him oxygen. We're just lowering ourselves really.

well the swans game was in sydney to idiot & 27k still turned up, half the stadium is still under construction! so weather is no excuse
it has been raining on the gold coast & south Brisbane for the best part of last week & the weekend, & the suns still manage to get a better turn out with Metricon Stadium being a very open stadium. the Gold Coast is a place you like to call a NRL strong hold as well
it sums it up again RL dying in the ass :D
so once again you fail & NRL is still the joke that it is

3 thugby games in Sydney can't even match the Swans crowd on Friday night. Sorry Retardeddave but people just aren't passionate about poor man's rugby. Deal with it. The Australian game is the future sport for Sydney.
