That’s an interesting figure for Sydney for the Buddy game - seems like a definite spike for the 1000 goal game. He certainly has been a positive in the NRL dominated city.
Fleeting moment just like plugger lockett back in the day. Socceroos got bigger rating in Sydney the night before.
Maybe, these ratings are nowhere near final - postmatch programming had 106k in Sydney. Final ratings will be interesting, even though we dont get a city based consolidation.
The Socceroos SHOULD get a better match rating in any given city, national team, world game, etc etc.
Yeah nah. Soccer gets little media coverage

very impressive NRL ratings
Melb v Parra
294K foxtel , 555K with the current NRL kayo estimates
Raiders V Titans
242K foxtel , 455K as above
Panthers V Knights
200K foxtel , 376K as above
around 1.4 million in total or 465K average
excellent figures , excellent
the current on field product is a level above 2021 with the tweek of the new penalty rule providing quality contests & the comp looks close & interesting.

I notice more games of the AFL seem to be standalone this year so far? Would this be a reason for increased ratings Wookie ?

Going to be news for Channel 7 who have a national broadcast game this afternoon jackass.
You aint winning the totals or the average with streaming included at this stage of the year. And thats a fact.
We all know how you hate predictions.

Not really no. The number of national broadcast matches per round averages between 3 and 4 across the year.
Sevens deal gives it Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon - unless theres a Thursday night game or public holiday fixture. Last round there was no national broadcast game on Sunday.

All Ill say is this, we've never had this much data before - to the point that im not even running comparisons to previous years, results will be interesting.

they were all over us for the first 6 or 7 rounds of 2021, & even with them gearing their telecast schedule with extra national FTA games
while ours is unaltered , we're neck & neck atm
this doesn't bode well for the fumbling game ... doesn't bode well at all
