No doubt it will rate, maybe even better than usual with the weather, lockdown, curiosity, it’s an event not too sure many AFL fans would deny it.

Last sat nights single game rated well over 1 mil despite involving 1 city only. It rated about 250k more than other Saturday nights when 2 games were combined. Yes Melbourne's lockdown would have increased the ratings by 100k at least, but even taking 100k away the ratings show our FTA gain with 2 concurrent games is way overplayed, and probably barely relevant

3M!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the current climate of falling FTA numbers across the board that is a great result. Particularly as the game was over before 1/2 time and ended up a record margin!!!!!

I do however fear for the remaining 2 games. Qld RL's supposed elite players are few and far between. All their NRL teams are hopeless and their origin team reflects that.

I can see a 3 game whitewash with big margins in each. That is not good for the concept. In fact that is what killed AFL SOO although the bubble dwellers will of course but but but!!!!

The Qlder's need a miracle. I can't see one coming!!!!
