Further evidence that the nRL is an amateur league with clubs agreeing to play full strength squads in a meaningless tournament like this. It seems like administrators see the nRL H&A season as irrelevant and the clubs also don't care if the players are at risk of injury playing in pointless rep games.

& even if it did

no one from anywhere outside of Australia would watch the full version let alone a reduced one

RL easily converts to 7's
but 9's is an even better modified version for our game ..... & here we have a weekend in Auckland ... with 50 to 60,000 fans to attend over the 2 days watching all 16 NRL teams throwing it around in a highly entertaining start to our year .. with live TV coverage back into Australia
& millions in prize money handed out
