I think most people in Perth wouldn’t even know who the teams were that played. Two different markets- Perth is to nrl what Sydney was when the swans went there.

Are there any ratings figures for the Perth double header ? 15000 average crowd is not what they were expecting for the two games I’m thinking- particularly as no AFL on that weekend.

get Freo v Port & Suns v Kangas at SCG will see how many turn up

I don’t think it mattered who was playing in the double header - there would be very few who follow an nrl team let alone heard of one in Perth. If you followed nrl you’d probably be going - it was there being a game rather than who was playing.

Where’s in Sydney you have a large Aussie rules following - massive compared to Perth - also a large AFL footprint also comparatively re: media and following. Which is fine - the whole reason of going to Perth for nrl is to grow the game - make it national - no point going to somewhere where the game is already popular. Same reason for having giants in western sydney.
always matters who is playing... it lifts the profile.

and i guarantee you the locals who would turn out for a FREO v PORT clash in Sydney would be low

NRL will expand in South West of BRISBANE down the track, they will be going where the FISH are WHY
because its a huge Area with no team that would be an instant success
Instant success like the storm were and the u wanted team in WA will apparently be

I do the same - just block one or two that really contribute nothing and often nonsensical - although you sometimes see their post when someone quotes - which just reaffirms why you blocked in the first place.

So just Ignore your special little buddy as he is an nrl fan and it’s as expected as they all usually have limited abilities to contribute anything useful?
The blocking function works a treat - as yeah - without it the site becomes mind numbing.

funny how with the Bears heading to Perth and NRL asking for upgrade to stadium causes such an uproar..

but Hockey in Perth is getting a $163million stadium LOL

(only Rectangular stadium in perth) which serves 3 codes and concerts (NO)

Hockey ( YES) LOL

MILAN is versing Perth at this HBF Park stadium ( imagen what other soccer teams would come to a new state of art stadium)

please make it make sense
